 | Why do a new- bought pen and refill not work, or fail to work after using for a while? | 1) The tip ball can’t turn because of factitious damage. 2) The inner part of tip is blocked. 3) The ink can’t flow out because of the ink groove of the tip inner part is wore . 4) The shelf life is exceeded and the ink has been deteriorated. 5) The air exposure has been so long that the ink has been dried. |
| |
 | Why there are broken lines during writing? | 1) The slight air bubble exist in the ink of the refills 2) The silicon oil upper the refill has gone into the ink layer 3) There is oil in the paper making the writing skidding. 4) Little impurity or deteriorated dissociation exist in the ink of the refill. |
| |
 | Why the broken line isn’t in the same depth, or broken lines? | 1) The tip is slightly damaged causing the tip ball doesn’t turn smoothly 2) The end gap of the tip ball is in different size. |
| |
 | Why tips fell down during writing? | 1) The end part of tip ball is too big or the exposed tip is too much. 2) The edging part of the tip ball is worn badly during wring. 3) It damaged by human reason. 4) It is greatly impacted in exposure. |
| |
 | Why the gel ink or oil ink leaked from the tip or the end of refill tube during writing? | 1) The tip ball is fell down so that the ventilation is good in the refill 2) The air is too much in the ink of the refills. 3) The silicon oil in the upper part of refill has chemical reaction with the ink layer, so that it doesn’t function as floating plug. 4) The exposure is too long so that the ink is dried. The air flows in and the up-side down is too long. 5) Being greatly impacted in exposure. 6) To write in a upside down position or in a sub-pressure (vacuum) condition. |

 | Why the manufacture (or technics) of retractable pen is more difficult than stick pen? | The special tip with inner spring is the key point. In the tip inner bore which diameter is 1mm, the technicians not only need to make the tank as thin as hair, but also need to place a spring which is too small to see with the naked eye in order to hold the tip ball and seal the gap between the edge of bowl to keep the ink from leakage and volatilization. To make sure the quality of the retractable Gel Pens, M&G only choose the biggest and most advanced tip manufacturer -- Premec from Switzerland to be the partner. |

 | What’s the meaning of H/B/HB which marked on pencils? | H/B/HB marked on the pencil represents the level of hardness and soft of the pencil lead. “H”- the initial letter of “hard” represents the clay , which means the hardness of pencil lead. The greater the number ahead “H”(eg,6H), the harder and lighter the pencil lead will be, that is, the clay will much more than the lead in mixture, this kind of lead usually used for duplicating. “B”- the initial letter of “black” represents the lead, it means the hardness of lead and the visibility of writing. 6B—the softest lead which writing visibility is blackest usually used for drawing. And “HB” is the most widely used pencil in normal writing life. |
 | How to Make a Gel Pen Start Working? | Step 1: Make sure that the small, plastic ball has been removed from the pen's tip. When a gel pen is new, it is shipped with a small piece of plastic on the tip to prevent the pen from leaking during shipment. Step 2: Move the pen in circular motions on a scrap piece of paper. This facilitates the ink flow to the point of the pen. Step 3: Shake the pen briskly. This will help to dislodge any air bubbles which may be preventing proper ink flow to the tip. Step 4: Heat the tip of the pen over a kettle or a pot of hot water. This helps to loosen the ink, which can congeal if the room temperature is too low. |
